28969: Labrom (reply) re 28943 Food in Jails (fwd)

From Jacqui Labrom

You have to have people/family bring in food to you whilst you're in prison. No such thing as receiving free food from the prison authorities. Just like the hospitals. You have to have someone in the hospital with you all the time as the hospital staff only give medicines and injections etc. (for which the patients/families have to pay upfront) The families take in food and stay by the bedside all the time - even throughout the nite.
