It is time to reconcile Haitians and allow Aristide and other exiled politicians to come back. He should ask for forgiveness because he hirt some people and return to Haiti not in a government capacity but to work with his foundation and help the poor, like he used to do before he went into politics. The poor love Aristide because he knows how to talk to them. He could therefore have a huge impact on them and help them with education and health issues. He was not a politician and that is why he failed. He was to frank and when he alienated the French in 2003 he signed his political death. No coup would have happend if he had been liked and respected by Chirac and his entourage. The coup would now have happend if the French had not sided with Canada and the US. If Aristide does not return to Haiti, the people who voted for him and went to school because of him will fight for his return and the cycle of violence will never stopp. The violence happening now in Haiti is political and has grown only stronger since his departure. Le him go back and if needed answer to justice. If he has done nothing wrong then let him live his life as a citizen of Haiti. Le'ts also set up a real conference of reconciliation (like SA had) so that that the people of Haiti can forgive and move on. It is time to heal the wounds of the past and move on together for the sake of Haiti.
