A few years ago we found the most amazing black sand beaches off of Ti
Goave. We were staying at the historic hotel right off the main square. (I
can't recall the name right now but Jacqui Labrom had sent us). Anyway
instead of going to their private beach via boat we drove back into town,
parked at a nice city park and walked a pretty good stretch to find gorgeous
soft black sand. We had our own personal beach all to ourselves for the day.
I think 'yo di' we were near the spot where people do a lot of great diving
too.
