29161: Simidor (reply) Re: 29156: Bourik Chaje (response): re Simidor (29138) flaws in the Lancet study (fwd)
From: Daniel Simidor
The heavy sarcasm, cloaked in anonymity, doesn?t
dispense with some simple facts:
1. The kidnappings. Any study of human rights or
crime in the post-Aristide era that doesn?t take into
account the wave of kidnappings that began
coincidentally in 2004 is essentially flawed.
2. The name issue. Or as Charles Arthur put it so
well: "How can the survey be regarded as objective if
the main person coordinating the survey hides her very
pronounced political sympathies by using a different
name?"
3. The Lavalas by day and criminal by night issue.
The Lavalas chimères controlled Cite Soleil and much
of the slums in the capital. If you believe with
Duff/Kolbe that they had nothing to do with the
killings and the rapes that took place there, then I
have three New York bridges in good condition I?d like
to show you.
W a kanpe!
