I've heard that the HOPE act had been shelved by the Bush administration
and/or Congress. The info I got was that it was a reaction to Préval/Alexis
getting involved with the non-aligned nations meeting in Cuba a few weeks
ago. Can anyone confirm this? Does anyone have details?
