of their infamous 50g per person demo for the return of Aristide?  Will
counterdemos be reported or even survive?
I remember driving by the bidonvilles with the driver commenting with a
laugh on the news report - the previous day, Aristide had said (reported on
all radio stations) that if anyone needed a job, help, etc. his door at the
palace was open to them.  Thousands of people showed up, and were, of
course, kept outside the gates. Kathleen
