If this was already announced on this list, my apologies, but it bears
repeating.  Charlie Horwitz, who passed in November, was a FONKOZE
(Fondasyon Kole Zepol) guiding spirit and board member.  Here's the
information about next Sunday's events celebrating his life:

1/7 SUN, 11 am-12:15 pm - Event: "An Ethical Life and Its Legacy: Charles
Horwitz, Esquire, and the Brooklyn Ethical Society's Ethical Action Message
in These Times." W/Greg Tewksbury, current co-chair of Ethical Action at
the BSEC. Honoring past president & longtime chair of BSEC Ethical Action
Committee Charles Horwitz, who died 11/13/06. Sunday Platforms series. At
Brooklyn Society for Ethical Culture, Meeting House main hall, 53 Prospect
Park West (between 1st & 2nd Streets), Park Slope, Brooklyn

3 pm memorial at Park Slope United Methodist Church and reception directly
following at the BSEC. Free.
