Best source -my source- is a Haitian..
I was lucky to represent some Haitian musicians, made Haitian friends, and 
moved to Haiti and lived there for several years.  The generous man whose 
family adopted me  taught me several proverbs.
The tradition is oral - I don't know if someone has written down ALL the 
proverbs, but you should first ask a Haitian.  If a book exists, then 
publishing your query on the List might yield a result.
