dear Readers:

thanks to Greg Chamberlain for posting the AP story on Venezuela's pledge of 
US$20 million to Haiti.  going to Spanish citations for a little more "heads 
up", Google's entertaining Engish translations [below] make me wonder if Haiti 
knows what it is "backing" into?

note also Venez's nod to the French Revolution, not the American one.
