The Workers Will Be Victorious No Matter What!
The vicious attacks against the workers continue by disingenuous and
reactionary bourgeois and petty-bourgeois hooligans. The workers know class
struggle
is harsh and they are getting ready for it. For its part, Batay Ouvriye has
said clearly that it is an Independent Workers Movement. Based on its
independent political line, it will accept any amount of funds available for
worker
organizing regardless of its source. They don’t depend on it but if it
comes,
they will not refuse it. In other words, when it comes to money, there is no
right source. Money is money. This is a general principle. The application of
it may be hard for some of us to swallow. The funny thing is that this is
not really what’s troubling BO’s detractors.
The whole funding issue that is being re-launched by the enemies of the
workers has a purpose. Of course, it remains clear that this reactionary
political current has nothing more to say. Their persistence on the issue is a
way to
serve their imperialist masters' goal of annihalating the workers. It is
also their way of trying to whitewash their Grand Manje (Big Eaters) friends
in
Fanmi Lavalas. Not only is the $449,000 figure a big lie but the fact is that
those who are pretending to denounce Batay Ouvriye hope that this funding
would go to Fanmi Lavalas who in turn would continue to help them beef up
their
own pockets generously just like it did before while in power.
Imposters like Ben Dupuy of Haiti Progres and Anthony Fenton would continue
to get rich in collaboration with Fanmi Lavalas on the Haitian People’s
backs. That's basically why they are crying wolf and continue to pretend they
are
denouncing Batay Ouvriye. They probably can’t sleep at night, making dreams
and plans about this money. The hypocrisy of these chameleons is so blatant.
Aren't they fervent supporters of Aristide and Fanmi Lavalas, the very folks
who betrayed the demands of the popular masses, came back to power with the
imperialist occupation in 1994-1995 on the backs of 25,000 imperialist
soldiers, and who also called for the 2004 imperialist occupation together
with the
opposition in violation of Haiti's Sovereignty? Aristide called foul because
he was not the beneficiary of the occupation. However, he firmly believes that
Haiti has to remain in the sphere of influence of imperialism as we speak.
These are the hypocrites who have such audacity to speak of Batay Ouvriye.
Who are they fooling? What are they trying to prove? Is it that they haven't
been successful in making their point that they are regurgitating the same
vomit all over again? They want to finish off the job of breaking the backs of
the workers and wiping out international support for the only Independent
Haitian Workers Movement. Isn’t that also the wish and the goal of the
international capitalists? Who are these imposters working for? Who’s paying
them to
give the workers a bad press? We know these greedy bees will not work for
nothing. That’s a fact. They are capitalists themselves.
People like Ben Dupuy of Haiti Progres and Anthony Fenton are in the media
business to make money and they were and have been in the pockets of Aristide,
and many others. They must come out and tell us who they are working for and
how much they got paid for trying to do away with the workers’ movement that
is an obstacle to the profits of the national and international capitalists.
Those national and international capitalists have a definite voice in the
Haiti Progres Newspaper. These same individuals are denouncing other groups
like PAPDA and SOFA that are speaking against imperialist domination of Haiti
and against the debt on Haiti’s back. They are definitely suspect and really
awkward to come out with their attacks at this time. That is proof enough that
they are paid guns. They just can’t help it. They do have to deliver no
matter how inappropriate and awkward.
Those that insist to denounce Batay Ouvriye have already drawn the line
clearly. They stand clearly against the People’s Camp. They are clearly in
line
with Andy Apaid, Reginald Boulos, the bureaucratic bourgeoisie, the
latifundistas, and the imperialists. This is what this struggle is all about.
The
workers will face all their enemies even those in disguise.
