  Folks,

  I was in Port au Prince the week of the Jazz Festival and was able to catch 
some of the festivities on live cable, but alas couldn't find time to get to 
any of the concerts. I was at the Montana on Sunday for lunch and being a 
musician myself noticed some of my peers enter the restaurant. I spoke with 
people from several of the groups and they we all impressed with how 
professionally things were done and most expressed hopes that they would be 
back in Haiti next year to do it again. What a good thing for Haiti !
