Mike,

In Essence, what everyone is saying is that Art and Culture can play a major 
role in making Haiti this economic dynamo for the Caribbean because this is one 
thing we excell at, that unites us,  give Haitians a sense of pride, make us 
forget about the daily struggles of life and that everyone knows us for in a 
positive way.   If Haiti was to sell itself as a tourist destination, art and 
culture will be a major component in its marketing campain.
