I have made this remark before. It's not only about Haitians not writing, but 
it's almost always the same people contributing. In terms of Haitians, I notice 
I and one other Haitian woman are the only writers, unless some graduate 
student is asking for a reference. It used to be 3 Haitian women, but I have 
not seen her contributing for the past year or so.
