Is it true that a Haitian
devised the mango scrubbing process, but that be for he could get a patent,
a Brazilian company had done so?  Also , if the insects came in on a box
from US, do the Haitian shippers have legal recourse for loss of income?
There are a number of vermin problems arising currently in international
shipping, and this is an instance. Some countries, like China, have the deep
pockets to reover losses.  Haiti does not, I hope there are some sharp
import/export legal folks out there, and that the mango pickers have already
been paid.
