Martine Baron requested information about organizations working in Haiti
which provide relief and development.  Of course I learn much from reading
the postings that come into the Haiti newsgroup and there are many great
groups out there.
I have found about four great clearing houses that provide ample information
about NGO's in Haiti:
1. http://www.researchonline.net/haiti/index.htm (great resources and tools
here which can be downloaded from your computer)
2. http://www.thehaiticonnection.org/index.html A detailed listing of
organizations and NGO's working in Haiti, along with medical news and
conference information.  A very active resource
3. http://www.haitichristianity.com/index.html Great site for swapping ideas
and seeing what other groups are involved in doing. Focuses heavily on the
spiritual relationship between the US and Haiti.
4. http://www.focushaiti.com/index.htm Focus Haiti has an alphabetical
listing of organizations working in Haiti along with newsfeeds and update
information about current events and activities.

I have had the blessing of meeting with many wonderful groups that work in
Haiti in order to provide sustainable change through our Sea Container
