#228: more on TAPPING THE MUSICAL TRADITION OF VODUN (fwd)

From: Yacine Khelladi <yacine@aacr.net>

I have searched the 2 released CD last friday in La Boite a Musique and
another record shop on rue des Miracles but could not find them. As last
may i did see a poster in the Oloffson for their signature sale (vente
signature) i went there but they do not have them either.

So where are those CDs to be found in PAP???

I also heard at Samba Zao place the first mix of the SOSYETE Bazilo
DJAKATA recording on tape, really good. There is preceding CD of Djakata
recorded in Germany in 97.

As part of a precedent discussion Zao cofirms me the existence of
double sided drums ( a bit look like bata in the south of haiti).

Also I saw Abouja recording Badjo ceremonies on 6th January 1999, but it
seems not yet to be on its CD listing, hope it will, it was great.
