Regarding the recent posts on malaria etc, does any one know the 
percentage of Haitians who've had malaria, and/or the percentage of 
untreated visitors who get malaria or dengue fever?  Also, once you've had 
the desease, can you transmit it forever or just a short time?   Can 
North American mosquitos trasmit these deseases?       Likewise, with 
typical travellers dysentery, can you bildup a resistance to it by 
consuming very small amounts of contaminated water, e.g. by brushing 
teeth, then be immune, as was suggested?        Jim
