The debate on Duvalier was very interesting and sometimes a little heated...

However, fast forward to say 1980... Can someone tell me with (a) the economy 
currently in shambles (b)  crime  and murder at an all-time high (c) a 
nonfunctional judicial system (d) Haiti becoming the new drug capital of the 
Caribbean (year to date seizures up 500% from 1994)

How Haiti is better off today than it was twenty (20) years ago?
