#2766: Non-documentary Haitian films : Peck's film

    One of the best films I have ever seen is " The Man by the Shore" by 
Raoul Peck. A beautiful and deeply sad film about Haiti during Papa Doc's 
time, the story is told to us by its child protagonist. 
    I have no idea where you could locate it though. You actually might be 
able to find it at a  video rental shop that carries more unusual films, like 
Kim's in Manhattan.
