Joel Dreyfuss Joins Urban Box Office Network as Editor-in-Chief;
Experienced Journalist Signs up With Internet-Based New Media Company

NEW YORK, March 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Urban Box Office Network (``UBO'')
today announced that Joel Dreyfuss joined the Company from Fortune
Magazine, to be Editor-in-Chief, responsible for content throughout
the company's network of websites and new media products.

Dreyfuss has over 20 years of journalism experience. He rejoined Fortune
in December 1997 after a seven-year absence, and most recently was the
magazine's high-technology product columnist, writing ``The Dreyfuss
Report.''He spent eight years as a Fortune associate editor from 1983 -
1991, and was the magazine's Tokyo bureau chief from 1986 - 1988. In
addition, he was a contributing editor at FSB, Fortune's sister small
business magazine (formerly called Your Company), a joint venture with
American Express.Dreyfuss was editor-in-chief and vice president of Our
World News, an on-line newspaper and publishing startup,from 1996 -
1997. Prior to that, he was the editor-in-chief, then editorial
director/associate publisher of Information Week from 1993 - 1996, and
the editor of PC Magazine from 1991-1993.

Dreyfuss helped launch USA Today as the New York bureau chief in 1982.
He was managing editor and executive editor of Black Enterprise from
1980 - 1982, and also worked at the Associated Press, The New York
Post and The Washington Post.An avid musician, he played and recorded
with Latin fusion bands in the 1970s, including King Nando and the
T&T Band, both of which scored No. 1 Latin hits in New York and Puerto
Rico.Dreyfuss served on the board of the American Society of Magazine
Editors and was a juror for the Pulitzer Prizes.He is a member of the
Council on Foreign Relations.
Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, Dreyfuss grew up in Europe, Africa and
New York City. He earned a B.S. degreefrom the City College of the City
University of New York in 1971 and was an Urban Journalism Fellow at the
University of Chicago in 1976.
