One more source for baskets and artisanat in general:
L'artisanat créateur à Haïti, Agence de coopération culturelle et
technique, Paris 1982. A lot of hats from different regions, sisal
works, chairs...

And a correction: the author of Art et Culture Populaire en Haïti is
Deita, or Deyita, nom de plume pour Mercédès Foucard Guignard, who has
also written other interesting books: Mon Pays Inconnu, PAP 1997, La
Légende des Loa, Vodou Haïtien, PAP 1993, and Kont nan Jaden Payi
Titoma, PAP 1991.
