1) Polecon: noun. A situation created by the fusion of politics and 
economics to the point where one becomes indistinguishable from the 
other. adj. poleconic.
e.g. The polecon is creating havoc in Haiti.

2) Poleconic impasse: Trying to solve a polecon crisis by attending 
only to the political aspects of the problem.
e.g. The International Community is at a poleconic impasse in Haiti.

3) Hyppolecon: One who feigns trying to solve a polecon crisis but is 
only taking care of personal interests.
e.g. The candidate was nothing more than a hyppolecon.
