I am planning a trip to Haiti around election time and have the opportunity
to visit sites of Haitian significance in the DR.  I've started re-reading
Wucker's "why the cocks fight" but I was wondering if anyone could suggest
some reading material that might give additional information on
Haitian-Dominican relations and issues.  I am interested in both the bateys
and DR history as it relates to Haiti.
