 Bahamian officials intercept 150 Haitians on 45-foot boat

 NASSAU, Bahamas -- (AP) -- Authorities said Monday they are preparing
to repatriate about 150 Haitians found Friday on a 45-foot wooden boat
in the Bahamas. A Royal Bahamas Defense Force vessel spotted the boat
anchored near Ragged Island in the southeastern Bahamas. Officials found
115 men, 25 women and 10 children on board. They were brought to the
Bahamian capital of Nassau on Sunday and were being held at Her
Majesty's Prison on New Providence.
