7431: Edwidge Danticat Reading & Book Signing In Philadelphia

The Fonkoze Development Fund of Philadelphia, in conjunction with the Spirituality and Art Center invite you to a reading and book signing by critically acclaimed Haitian-American novelist Edwidge Danticat at 7:00pm on Friday, March 30 at the Tabernacle United Church.  

Ms. Danticat has been named one of Œ20 People in Their 20¹s Who Will Make a DifferenceŒ by Harper's Bazaar, one of ¹30 Under 30 Creative People to WatchŒ by New York Times Magazine, and one of the ¹15 Gutsiest Women of the Year¹ by Jane Magazine.  Her first novel, Breath, Eyes, Memory was featured in Oprah Winfrey's Book Club.

The Reading will be followed by a reception featuring Haitian food and fellowship.  The event is free.  The Tabernacle United Church is located at 3700 Chestnut St., Philadelphia, PA, adjacent to the campus of the University of Pennsylvania.
