The tone continues to rise between the two capital cities: the government has made public a press release accusing its US counterpart of blocking international aid in various institutions. The US government uses its veto power for political purposes [it said]. Culture and Communication Minister Guy Paul, who signed this communique, states that this behaviour goes against the interests of the Haitian people. In the same way, Senator Pierre Sancon Prince accuses the US government of practicing economic terrorism...
