 I believe that Jean D'Esquiron's family ran a large chicken farm in
Freres

The Desquiron family did run a large chicken farm about a mile or so west
of
the Camp d'Application.  Jean and his wife, however, passed away.  Go by
their
daughter, Francoise's "La Pepiniere" and ask; maybe one of the children -
Lila,
Francoise or Jean - would have advice for chicken-farmers-to-be.
