DATA RELATED TO BOB CORBETT'S SALE OF HIS LIBRARY

NOTE FROM DECEMBER 7, 2007

My library is currently for sale as a single unit. It has been on the market under that condition for a while now, and that offer will remain until January 5, 2008.

However, there has been relatively little interest the library as a single unit, but quite a bit in individual items or smaller parts of it. After January 5th, if the library has not been sold, or not in a serious process of being so, I will then begin to offer SMALLER SETS, sort of inner collections such as the French books, children's books, rare books and such as entire sets.

Only after allowing that option for a while will I then begin to offer the library as single items for sale. If I do move to that option it will take significant time for me to list all the items since there are over 5,000 items, probably closer to 7,000. I don't even know how many there are.

For the time being I have closed my "books for sale" list and won't open that again until after January 5, 2008, depending upon what's going on with the library.
