In the photograph on the left are Caroline and Mary Cody behind the fence and Ed, Charles and Ann Cody in front of the fence. The first resident I can find for the house is Ed Cody in 1896. I happen to know this house well since my parents purchased it in about 1940 and I spent most of my first ten years there. They purchased the house from Ed Pierce.
It is difficult to date this photo. The house next door which is pictured on the right side of the photo, was built in 1901, so it had to be after that date. Yet the clothing on the people suggests an early date in the 20th century, surely no later than the mid-teens.
