Bob Corbett was certainly one of the best soccer players to every come out of St. Louis. A member of the St. Louis Soccer Hall of Fame, the Most Valuable Player of the 1943-44 season with the El Rey Chili team, recipient of the Silver Boot for 25 years of distinguished service to soccer in St. Louis and member of numerous all-star and championship teams.
