I do not agree with miss Lalau's speculations about Diaspora Haitians 
returning.  My parents returned to Haiti after my mom left with her family 
when she was 16 returning 20 years later my mother and father (may he rest in 
peace) have adapted and been accepted with no ill affect. 
The problem with the returning Diaspora is that they tend to have a superior 
attitudes towards those who stayed behind.  "In America that would never 
happen" or "this is the way it is done over there" are often heard from the 
Diaspora.  When they realize that they are not in the States anymore and that 
things are done differently and cease to be condescending then and only then 
will they be welcomed with opened arms.
