BRA will hold a conference on the Dominican Republic's bateys at the New
York's United Nations next February 2001.  We are currently looking for a
personality to be our Keynote Speaker - a person who is and has not been
affiliated with the Dominican nor Haitian govenment - and can speak about
the batey situation, including the plight of the Haitian migrant workers and
families.  Can you recommend someone?

BRA will cover the person's fulll room and board and transportation (air &
