That's not nice posting...

Chamberlain:
Of course, this is a old problem of the self-styled "revolutionary" left
anywhere -- contempt for everything and everyone around them that does not
fall in with their line or worship at their shrine.
,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
This sounds like the self-styled, rigid, conservative right too.....isn't that
interesting?
,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Chamberlain:
This would not be a problem if Haiti Progrès did not present itself as the
exclusive "alternative" and defender of "the people." We should not be
fooled.
,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
WE are not fooled. But thanks for caring.

Chamberlain:
Now we see it blindly defending a political current in Haiti that
shows alarming signs of falling into good old habits of totalitarianism and
becoming yet another of Haiti's oppressors.
,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Some see this as supporting a movement with which one has shared
values and beliefs. Some would also see the condemnation of Aristide
as blindly objecting to anything that doesn't support the status quo.
Perception is everything.
Haiti Progrès is remarkable in that it is solidly on the side of the majority
of Haitians, who have been underrepresented and undervalued. It might not
be balanced but it is making up for a lifetime of neglect and injustice.
Seems
like many people don't want to have to be held accountable for past wrongs.
It isn't enough to stop the abuse, one must also make amends.
