6176: Haitian children sent to Haiti (fwd)

Corbettland,
Had any studies been done regarding parents who send their children to Haiti 
because of unaccepted, cultural or intergenerational, or"bad" behaviors?
This is an occurence that is becoming quite frequent. Children or high school 
students whose parents are called quite often in school are sent to Haiti. 
Parents who have been involved with DSS send their children to a relative or 
a boarding school.
Does this practice alter or ameliorate the behavior? Does child come back a 
better person? What happens to those kids?
Anyone wants to comment on that phenomenon?
