Happy report: After a week thing are now fully operational for the list in Vienna

I arrived a week ago today.  Finally today the computer people,
back from Christmas break, fixed up my computer in my apartment
so that I have direct network service from the university and
in the privacy of my own apartment.  

What a far cry from 1998 as many will remember when I had to come
begging to you all to help pay my $500.00 a month phone bills.
Ironically, when they came up today and set me up they not only
provided this direct free e-mail access, but installed a free
telephone system on the internet.  So I go from $500 a month
phone bills to free calls to the U.S.

I should now be able to stay current with postings just as in
the past.
