Mihoko, It is already being done here and there. I've seen one example; the 
farmer was using the waste from his pigs. It's too expensive to set up to for 
this method to catch only extensively. The use is basically for cooking. 
Better idea that is being more widely adopted: Growing bamboo/trees to 
harvest for making charcoal (ie, trees that grow right back after being cut 
and can be harvested every few years) takes no money and virtually no space 
as they can be planted around the borders. Alex
