from the Miami Herald:

>>>Haiti opposition leaders in hiding after palace attack
Opposition leaders remained in hiding Tuesday after supporters of President
Jean-Bertrand Aristide responded to a reported coup attempt a day earlier
with a rampage against government opponents<<<<

If the opposition leaders are in hiding (an example of not one of which is
cited in the article), why, despite the grotesque and cynical violence of
the Lavalas mobs, have they been so easily accesible to AP, Reuters and the
Herald itself? How can one publish such a statement and then not back it up?
