Hi Patrick - yes you can do this in most banks - certainly Sogebank and you
will take it out in US but then they can change it to gourdes - so whatever
you need!! Its much easier to do this than change traveler's checks - this
is murder - except for the hotels who will change them!!  Go figure!

Although Promobank in PVille is the best at changing all kinds of things -
French FRancs, Canadian dollars and travelers' checks.
