 Dominican Republic: The evolution of Haiti in art
The Museum of Dominican Man presents a collection of art that shows the
evolution of Haitian heritage. “Heritage: homage to the ancestors” will be
open until next week ? at the Museum. Curator Abil Peralta says the
exhibition is a picture documentary that narrates the history of a people,
its objects and its world. Sixteen Haitian artists are exhibiting, including
Fravange Valcin II, Ralph Allen, Carlos Jean Baptiste, Fritzner Cedon, Franz
Mosanto, Moab Polydor, Pierre Louis Yvon, Elise Izmee, Johnny Valbrun II,
Mercedes Coachy, Lorger Menard, Jean Pierre Auguste, Hertelo, Casimir Jean,
Kendy Peguero, and Brunel Ricklor.
