I don't think being a priest or a brother has ever been considered in Haiti
as an indication that that person will behave the way the church says he
should behave.  Priest and seminarians having girl-friends and fathering
children is commonly rumored, and some women like the holly men.  As to the
brothers, like Freres de l'Instruction Chretienne there are usually some
perverts among them.  The Catholic FIC boys' school in Petion-Ville was known
to have at least one who was nicknamed "Peze Grenn". Peze means squeeze, and
grenn means testicules.
