Note: Given the name(s) of the head of household, both first and last, were totally wrong, locating this record was very difficult. Nearly impossible.
Note: Nevertheless, I do believe the following family is the Bartolomeo and Rosa GILLARDI family living at 1127 Forster Alley in St. Louis, Missouri in 1900.
The individual answering stated the couple was married 27 years, both can read and write, though the wife cannot speak English. Immigration dates were: Bartolo 1884, Rosa 1888.

1910 – U. S. Federal Census taken on the 19th of April –St. Louis County, Ward 4, St. Louis, Missouri - lists a Rosa GILLARDI as head of household, widowed, immigrated in 1884, residing and renting at 1418 N. Seventh Street, St. Louis, Mo.

1917 - 18 May 1917 - Selective Service Act passed – Authorizing the President to increase temporarily the military establishment of the United States - WWI – Under this Act registration was required for all men residing in the U. S., whether native born, naturalized, or alien – between the ages of 18 and 45.

1920 - U. S. Federal Census St. Louis, Missouri Ward 4, taken on the 9th of January. As of this writing, I have not been able to locate the GILLARDI family: Rosa, Mello and Rose, in the 1920 Census, though I believe they were alive and living in St. Louis, Mo.
Note: I was able to find the family of August and Theresa GILARDI, listing their eldest daughter Angelina as widow (of Phillip GILLARDI).

1922 - 23 July 1922 – Marriage of son, Mello GILLARDI to Frances MANTIA, daughter of Cologero and Agostina Mantia, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, St. Louis, Missouri. Witness were Giuseppe Catanzaro and Louisa Goya (sic).
1922 - 02 Sept 1922 – Death of Rosa Busachino GILLARDI, beloved wife of the late Bartolomeo GILLARDI, dear mother of Philip, Mello, Mary, Magela and Rose GILLARDI. According to her obituary in the local St. Louis Post Dispatch Newspaper, the funeral was from residence; 4521 Labadie Avenue, to Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church. Interment in Calvary Cemetery.

1947 - 28 Nov 1947 – Death of Anthony (Tony) BUSALACKI at age 57 in Barnes Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri. He was the husband of Margaret (Magela/Maggie) Gillardi Busalacki.
1953 - 26 March 1953 - Death of Rose Gillardi PUPILLO at age 51 at home, 4450 Margaretta St., St. Louis, Missouri. She was the wife of Antonino (Tony) PUPILLO.
1959 - 07 August 1959 - Death of Magela/Maggie BUSALACKI at age 61 in DePaul Hospital, St. Louis, Mo. She was the widow of Anthony (Tony) Busalacki.
1967 - 20 Dec 1967 – Death of Mercurio (Mike) SHARAMITARO at age 78 at St. Anthony's Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri. He was the husband of Mary GILLARDI SHARAMITARO.
1968 - 21 May 1968 – Death of Mary Gillardi SHARAMITARO at age 72 at St. John's Mercy Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri. She was the widow of Mike SHARAMITARO.
1974 - 25 July 1974 – Death of Angela Frances GILLARDI at age 85. She was the widow of Phillip GILLARDI. Her obituary noted that she was a member of the 3rd Order of St. Francis and the Christian Mothers Sodality. Frances was also a retired member of the International Ladies Garment Workers - Local #104.
