1906 - 21 April 1905 – Passenger records for the ship Lombardia from Palermo show a listing for Antonino PUPILLO – 11 yrs old, last residence Castelbuono, final destination is St. Louis, Mo.

1905 - 10 Aug 1905 - Passenger records for the ship Sicilia from Napoli list the group below from Castelbuono, Sicily – Giovannina Salerno (43 yrs), Anna PUPILLO (9 yrs), Providenza PUPILLO (6 yrs) and Vincenzo PUPILLO (3 yrs), to meet Giovannina’s husband Salvatore PUPILLO in St. Louis, Mo.

1907 - Maybe 1907 - It’s unknown what actually happened, but according to the record below, Giovannina and the three younger children went back to Castelbuono and returned to the U.S. in 1909. We do not know about Salvatore whether he also returned, as there is no mention of him in any records we found mentioning him after 1905. All we know is that in the 1910 U.S. census Giovannina is listed as a widow.

1909 - 7 May 1909 – Passenger records for the ship Lazio from Palermo list the group below from Castelbuono, Sicily – Giovannina Salerno (45 yrs), Anna PUPILLO (12 yrs), Providenza PUPILLO (10 yrs) and Vincenzo PUPILLO (6 yrs), to meet Giovannina’s brother-in-law Rupello (?)PUPILLO in St. Louis, Mo.

1910 – U. S. Federal Census in May 1910 –St. Louis County, Ward 4, St. Louis, Missouri - lists a Joanena PUPILLO as head of household, widowed. Immigrated in 1907 and residing and renting at 1206 Sixth Street.

Joanena answers that she is the mother of 11 children, 5 are living. She cannot read or write, but her five children are able to read and write.

1912 - 20 Oct 1912 – Marriage of Anne PUPILLO and Frank Bono at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, in St. Louis, Missouri. Witnesses: Franchi Bono and Lina Palazzolo

1913 - 9 June 1913 – Marriage license issued to Dan PUPILLO of 1202 N 6th St., and Margaret Sansone of 1126 N. 6th St., St. Louis, Missouri.

1913 - 21 Sept 1913 – Birth of Frank J. Bono Jr, son of Frank J. and Ann Pupillo Bono

1915 - 19 Oct 1915 – Birth of Salvator Bono, son of Frank J. and Ann Pupillo Bono

1917 - 18 May 1917 - Selective Service Act passed – Authorizing the President to increase temporarily the military establishment of the United States - WWI – Under this Act registration was required for all men residing in the U. S., whether native born, naturalized, or alien – between the ages of 18 and 45.

1945 - 13 April 1945 – Death of Anthony Caito at age 56 in St. Louis City Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri. He was the widower of Geneva Marie PUPILLO, and son in law of Dan and Margaret PUPILLO

1947 - 22 Sept 1947 – Death of Hugo Salvatore RIDOLFI at age 68 in Barnes Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri. He was husband of Rose PUPILLO.

1949 - 20 June 1949 - Death of Francesco (Frank J.) BONO at age 60 at St. John's Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri

1950 - 05 July 1950 - Death of Frank William CAMMARATA at about 72 years old in Christian Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri. He was the husband of Jennie PUPILLO Cammarata.

1953 - 26 March 1953 – Death of Rose Gilardi PUPILLO at age 51 at home 4450 Margaretta, St. Louis, Missouri. She was the wife of Antonino PUPILLO.

1957 - 18 June 1957 – Death of Margaret PUPILLO at age 59 at Chronic Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri. She was the wife of Domiano (Dan) PUPILLO.

1963 - 21 Jan 1963 – Death of Domiano (Dan) Pupillo at age 73 of Emphysema at St. Louis City Hospital

1963 - 02 Nov 1963 - Death of Anne Pupillo Bono at age 72 at Good Shephard Home in St. Louis, Missouri.
