Last night I decided not to do a thing today. My laziest day since arriving here and the very first day in which I will not have walked at least my minimum daily four miles.
Then I felt good about the decision when I woke early about 4 AM to go to the bathroom and heard the pounding rain on the roof. It’s been raining all day, and fortunately I didn’t need food this morning. I had my tea bags and a large yogurt in the refrigerator. I will have to walk the 1 1/2 blocks to the restaurant to eat a main meal in a couple hours, but not for a while.
The house filled up last night and now there’s more competition for the e-mail today, so I won’t really say any more.
I hope to finish up my book, Prague, in a little while and write about it for my book reviews, then begin a new book, haven’t chosen it yet.
Tomorrow morning I hope to catch the 6:30 AM bus no matter the weather and go, for the first time, into the Monteverde reserve and do some walking there.
A lovely, quiet restful Sunday and if I were really lucky might even get the world series this evening, don’t know about that.
