Jesper has a PhD in environmental Microbiology. After his dissertation he went back to work with topics like Human rights, social injustice and international conflict management. Was recruited by the Peace museum in 2006 to be the head of education building up its pedagogical activities. Took over as director in 2007. The House of Peace has gone through a massive change and expansion since then. It has expanded from 2 to 20 employees including fulltime, part time and extras. The House of Peace now educates about 20 000 young people every year and do activities in more than 20 cities in Sweden every year. Jesper Has had been in the advisory committee for the governmental work on discrimination. He is also deeply involved in the work of remembrance of the Holocaust.
