Dr Carol Rank recently retired as Senior Lecturer in Peace and Conflict Studies at the Centre for Trust, Peace and Social Relations (CTPSR) at Coventry University in the UK and in now Honorary Research Fellow with CTPSR. She has been teaching Peace Studies since the early 1980s, mainly in the U.S. and Europe, and she also has extensive experience in peace education at the community level in the UK.
She was the first Project Officer for the Peace Museum in Bradford, UK (1994 – 1999) and later joined its board of directors after having left Bradford to take up her teaching post at Coventry University in 2000. She joined the board of directors of the International Network of Museums for Peace at the 2005 international conference of peace museums hosted by the Gernika peace museum and is now a member of the Advisory Committee of INMP.
