Iratxe Momoitio Astorkia has been Director of the Gernika Peace Museum since its foundation in 1998. She is a very active member of several international networks related to Peace, Human Rights, Memory and History. She has organised conferences related to Art and Peace, History, Memory and Human Rights and has edited many books about these issues.
