The Science of Peace
Raphael Dubois, Professor of Physiology at the University of Lyons, compared peace research to a medical science and stressed the importance of creating strong schools to study the science of peace.
1945- Gaston Bouthol founded his Instituut Francais de Polomologie in Paris. Boutholís work reflected the studies of Dubois.
L.F. Richardson with a second degree in psychology, developed an arms race model in the 1930ís. By the 1960ís, after his death, Quincy Wright, his colleague, published 2 volumes of his work, (Arms and Insecurity and Statistics of Deadly Quarrels.)
