  2. Critique Erikson's theory in terms of cultural and contextual bias.
  3. Discuss Peck's theory of development in middle and late adulthood.

  4. Discuss Jung's theory of development in middle and late adulthood.

  5. Compare and contrast Jung, Erikson, and Pecks' theories of adult personality development.

  6. Discuss the concept of mid-life crisis drawing on works of Levinson, Neugarten, Farrell and Rosenberg, and Costa and McCrae.

  22. Describe the "stange situation". What does the cross-cultural information tell us about attachment behavior in children?

  23. Discuss the impact of friendship and peer interaction on development.

  24. Discuss the issue of storm and stress in adolescence. Provide empirical evidence related to the myth of storm and stress.

  25. For thoses adolescents for whom life is stressful, relate how problems in early peer relationships, peer acceptance and peer rejection, and school performance may lead to this developmental stage being perceived as turbulent.
