A private collection of Haitian art is now on show in Denmark. It is the
collection of Jorgen Leth, a Danish film maker, poet, and journalist who
has lived in Haiti for the past ten years. For those on you who are
interested in art, the 191 page catalogue Billeder fra Haiti/Images from
Haiti  is bilingual, and has colour illustrations throughout. There are
articles and interviews with the artists about particular paintings. I
think the approach is different from what I have seen in other
books/catalogues. I have only leafed through it, but it's a convincing
and solid piece of work.
