#855: Haitian song Choucoune : Manigat replies

"Yellow Bird" is not a translation of Oswald Durand's famous poem "Choucune".
The name of the composer is Moleart Morton, a Haitian. I am not quite sure of
the spelling of his first name.
Two books can assist anyone interested in the histoy of "Choucoune":
